Here is a project for all you Iron Pig guys. It pains me somethin' awful to consider parting ways with it but reality is setting in and my time and monies need to be focused in other directions for the next little while. This is a 1973 FJ55 that we got up and running and then decided to build with a little more depth 'cause my wife didn't like the fact that your could see the road moving by underfooot due to the rusted through floorboards. So we found a 1975 with a better body and did a body swap. This is not a classic numbers matching restoration but a good solid transformation in to a workable, driveable vehicle. Keep in mind that it is definitely a work in progress but it has a bunch of very desireable conversions and add-ons.

Here's what it's got:

350 Chevy engine -out of a mid '70's Chevy Truck
Muncie 4 speed tranny with a Hurst shifter
Brand new clutch - 0 miles
2" body lift
Front and rear disc brake conversion - JT Outfitters kit
Power steering conversion
Racing Style front seats
Working tailgate glass motor
New black rockcrawler style rims - 0 miles
New Autometer guages
Exterior was just painted/coated with yellow Grizzly Grip bedliner material. If you buy this quick and want to do another coat I probably still have enough material but it needs to be used in the next few days or it will start going bad. It doesn't have a real long shelf life.
Our plan was to use bed liner on the interior roof as well as there is currently no headliner but this has not been done yet. The interior door columns and panels also still need paint as well. The interior floor already has been lined with Black bedliner material.

Also have but not yet installed:
Brand new aftermarket Wiring Harness
GM tilt steering column with keys
Cosmetic Dash Cap
Brand new Pop-up Sunroof - current opening needs to be enlarged by 1/8"
Front headlight guards

The only thing it really needs partswise is a new windshield and door panels to be fabbed. I have a bunch of panels in half decent shape for patterns or reworking.

This is basically just waiting to be re-assembled and fired up. I have so many spare/extra parts that would go with the truck that I can't even start to list them. At our current pace this will still take us too long to finish due to other obligations and shifting focus.

I have all of theheadlights/taillights/marker lights as well as duplicates of most of them.

Again, I really hate considering the sale of this vehicle but I'd rather see it put to use than sit around too much longer. I'm open to reasonable offers. I won't plague you with details of how much money and love have gone into this because that doesn't really add up in the value department. I'll consider all reasonable offers.

The truck is located in Denton, Texas and is currently listed in the D/FW Craigslist sight if you want to see a few more pics. I won't really be spending much time checking back in this forum so please email me at mrgwilly@verizon.net with any questions or if you need additional pics.
