I bought this last year end of april from the gentleman that built it. He lived in Fallon Nv. I drove it home from Reno airport about 500 miles. Have maybe put another 500 on cruising around town and foothills.
I Sold my dirt bikes the year before because of health issues. i had a number of 40s and a couple 45s back in the 70s and really loved them so i thought i'd get one and still be able to have some adventure in my life. My cancer has progressed didn't have the energy to dig out if i got stuck so I just fixed some stuff and enjoyed having it around. My cancer has spread all over . Just started chemo this week. I am listing it as it was listed when I bought it will add what i've done
Old school build and rust free body. Regular service. all fluids recently changed except engine as it doesn't need it yet. This vehicle has been on the Rubicon several times including 2013 and 14. It is driven to the trail and back not trailered.
Low mileage 350 crate motor ( about 10k ) Eldebrock manifold, Summit carb
new aluminum radiator, shroud, electric fan
Aluminum high volume water pump
all new belts and hoses
Optima yellow top battery
SOA with front and back moved to extend wheel base 8 inches
SM420 trans with toyota 3 speed transfer case
Tom Woods rear drive shaft double cardigan
Front double cardan drive shaft
Spartan lockers front and rear
Chromoly front axles
fj60 Hubs with inner and outer chromoly gears
Complete front axle rebuilt hubs, bearings, seals
new rear axle seals, bearings, races, u-bolts, bump stops
t-case mod for L-4 to L-2 shift on fly
Nitto tires 35/14.5/15 and new 10 in black steel rims
new spare never used

So in the last year I replaced front brakes and calipers. They would drag when heated.

new starter motor, Vintage heater, it had a Mohava heater but no defrost.
On the hard top stripped undercoating on fiberglass. bondo-ed and painted.
found some hard doors from Rusty Nail Racing. replaced all weather striping and installed new head liner but the doors need a little work to close properly Out of my expertise
This is a great driving 40 drives and stops straight Kept waiting for it to pull one way or other when I hit brakes but it never happened speedo , and Gas gauge doesn't work
