I am selling my 1973 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40. I have done a lot of work on this truck over the last year. Just finished front disc brake conversion. Has AM/FM cassette radio. We just finished a two day trip to Canada and back. The truck performed perfectly and maintained 70 easily, even up the hills. Drives straight and has plenty of power for the hills
This was a good Colorado truck and daily driver for previous two owners. I used it as a daily driver over the winter.
Here is what is new in the last year:
New tires(Toyo M55), mounted on stock wheels with factory hub caps.
Front disc brakes, new pads, turned rotors, new trunnion bearings and seals.
Front and rear axle seals.
Rear brakes.
Drivers window regulator (crank), - Toyota part.
Drivers and passenger door handle, latch.
Rear view mirror, drivers side mirror - Toyota part.
New complete exhaust - Toyota parts.
New shocks - Toyota parts.
New belts.
Replaced all shackle, spring pins and bushings.
Speedometer cable.
Battery - heavy duty.
Battery tray - Toyota.
Door pins and bushings and strikers - really tightened up the doors.
The bad - needs attention
Drivers floor rust repair.
Carburetor rebuild.
Replace front windshield. I have a new seal just needs the glass.
Front fenders - replace or repair rust.
Rear quarter panels - replace or repair rust.
