1973 FJ40 MetalTech Full Roll Cage - Installing Jump Seats (1 Viewer)

I didnt think about this when we bought the metaltech roll cage. But it looks like we can no longer use the jump seats.

Is there anyone out there that has installed the jump seats with the full metaltech roll cage? Once you install the "rear diagonal support", the space where the jump seats used to go disappears.

I would really like to keep the functionality of the jump seats.

Any ideas would be great.

Can you post some photos? It is a different application, for sure, but we scooted out our long jump seats to allow room for the roll bar. I believe SOR makes a bracket for this purpose. Then you will need to have a rest for the jump seat support bumpers as they will no longer hit the top of the fender. We used 2" angle. Good luck.
