Some specifics:
- sbc 350 with edelbrock 600 carb rebuilt with less than 1000 miles, mild cam, ramshorn exhaust manifolds with dual exhaust run all the way out the back of the vehicle
- 4 speed tranny/transfer case with 3 speed gears in transfer
- 4 wheel disc brakes (front axle from a 76 cruiser, rear monte carlo)
- Q78 swampers 36 x 11 x 15
- 4 inch leafs, 2 inch shackles
- Aquala aluminum tub, older style 2 piece hood
- rewired with 21 circuit ez-wiring harness
- Hyperfuel in-tank fuel pump (fuel injection ready), hyperfuel regulator
- Confer style aux tank
- swing out spare tire holder with IPOR spindle and full size spare
- besttop
- Autometer gauges
- full roll cage with 5 point harnesses
- semi rhino lined interior (the autozone roll on kind)
- rear jump seat
- ramsey 8000lb winch
- all new stainless hood hooks/emblems from toyota
My “series 2.0” plan was fuel injection, electric fan and possibly SOA. I have a Fitech system as well as either a taurus or Mark VIII fan (Can’t remember), and a SOA rear housing and the front axle kit from Ruffstuff - also have an extra set of both stock and 2.5” lift springs.
I did all the work - went all the way down to the frame and built back up, actually have pictures of the whole process as well as all receipts. Lots of other things - new 4 row radiator, double seal output for transfer case, extra third member, etc. My thought is all my landcruiser stuff goes with the 40 - will let the Fitech stuff go as well for the right price.
The 40 runs GREAT. Is in a good place to either keep it like it is or upgrade to something more crawler-like. Was a lot of fun to build and drive, but now I have kids and need to help fund the next project.
Please let me know if you have questions, want more pictures or want to come take a look - I am in Yorktown Va. In no hurry to sell - consideration around $16,500 $14,000 but am open to offers.
Thanks
