I had plans to do a semi restore on this but as my FJ-60 comes to a close I just dont have the energy to start this project anytime soon. It is pretty rough but could be a cheap mild wheeler with a little elbow grease. This also would be an excellent start to a truggy. Obviously looking at the pictures you can see the rust... its going to take some work to be DD if that is the intention. Title is in hand.
This has been converted to a chevy 350 which runs. Heck, it fired up with 3 year old gas in it. That being said, it smokes. Whether that is the gas or worn rings I couldnt tell you. I changed the oil and then I drove it around the parking lot and then parked it. It looks to be the crate GM goodwrench 260hp version but I couldnt be certain.
Here's some other details:
Chevy 350 conversion with power steering
Aussie locker in the back (couple hundred miles)
Freshly done mini truck front axle conversion (mini truck birfields and discs brakes on stock axle, less than 30 miles)
Spare third member and axle shafts
Decent interior, working rear glass
Decent tread on the 33" tires
Needs to have the turn signals hooked up and the brakes bled. Other than that she is driveable. A trailer would be best for pickup but the cruiser is capable of driving up onto it.
I'm looking to get $600 obo for it but I am VERY OPEN to trades. If someone had the time it could easily be parted out for far more. I into all kinds of things so dont be timid to make an offer or trade. I'm happy to take more pics on request. It is currently located in the Bridgeport Village area (Tualatin/Tigard).
