Up for sale is my '73 FJ40, with approximately 12k miles since being built by Toyota Master tech as his personal trail vehicle.
I purchased it from him in 05' and continue to have him maintain it today.
This 40 is mechanically sound, and I would not hesitate driving it anywhere!

- Note, this is a trail truck! Body has a few scratches, rock rash on rear passenger aluminum quarter, rear sill has some minor surface rust - front fenders both have small cracks in paint just above the inner support. Butch Lewis Kit- (Saginaw / frame re-enforcement)
Butch passed away a few years back, this was one of his early kits, when he still chiseled out the vin access "window" by hand!

(note: towbar mounts-welded, Hella 700's, new Deutsch tech shocks, & front diff "armor" add since pics taken)

Rear "swing outs" open, & closed pictures...
The cooler / jerry can carrier has since been modified to actually fit a cooler or 3 NATO style jerry cans.

Ken

Thanks Ken!
I was doing an inventory of all my spare parts last night, & stumble across (2), brand new bags of "drive" shaft bolts, there for 68 - 1/74, 8 total.(picked them up to replace the ones you gave me in Big Bear 2 years ago)
I'll have them for you at the next meeting.....
Thanks again
Chris

Bump & Responding to a PM here "does it come with the soft-top pictured?"
"do you have a hard-top?"

NO hard top.

YES it does come with a soft-top, see post 7 for picture.
1st gen Kayline, clear windows, no damage, perfect shape, only on the 40 a few times.....

also included, a Spector Family Bikini Top (uses snaps opposed to window frame channel - allows for windshield to still be folded forward when installed, see link for pic)

And a Trail Cover. This trail cover was part of the Rick's Broncos "group buy" here on Mud. I was one of the few who actually got one!
