Well guys, I am sad to say that my dream has to come to an end. I am parting out Sparkle Wrench. I am at a loss, not really because I have to sell my project, but because my dad hit me with a bombshell on Christmas. He is selling his autobody shop. I was at a loss for words. It's been my sanctuary for well over twenty years wrenching on my "stuff" along with all the memories as a kid. It's like I got my first real lesson on mortality this Christmas.
Enough of that. I bought this '72 Cruiser a few years ago with the intentions of performing a modest resto mod/ Frankencruiser. I started out of the gate with plenty of intensity, but slowly sort of burnt out. This was partly due to the 1 hour and 15 minute commute to my dad's shop from my house and my three year old son. Time is just not on my side.
I'm not gonna go through every single thing I've done to the vehicle since I got it to use as a sales pitch. It's not my style. Instead I will itemize what I have (off the top of my head) to sell off of it. Everything is obviously negotiable, but within reason. I will ship anything that the post office will accept on your dime, but anything larger, heavier will have to local pickup only.
~Frame & rears w/ title(no rot)...$600
~Windshield frame (bare)...........$100
~New Energy body mount kit......$75 shipped sold
~Steering column with wheel......$80
~Early model wiper motor...........$75 shipped sold
~Early style front seats...............$100 (need recovered and some metal work)
~'74 F motor turns fine...............$200
~Front grill w/bib.......................$125 will ship, but need to have zip to calculate costs sold
~Two sets of front doors.............$50 per set (need work)
~Fenders..................................$100/pair (need some minor metal work)
~Wiring harness........................$90 shipped sold
~'74 Carb/intake/Air cleaner.......$125 plus shipping
~Lower dash pads.....................$50 shipped sold
Plenty more I am forgetting, but this will get you started. I will sell the entire rig for $1500 which will get you EVERYTHING I have including the tub. Check out my build thread to get an idea. Paypal is 77lubr@gmail.com.
