$12,650 is the price.
I'll have the truck at the Parkway ride on the 16th of October.
A LOT of money was spent on this truck. She runs and drives great. No apologies.
There is another MUD member, that may have a truck for sale that I really really really want. Since I can't afford both I need to sell the one I've got. Like real real real bad.
I bought this truck from a fellow mud member and good friend. I love this truck. He (the previous owner) and I have had numerous offers on the truck.
To begin:
This truck was built to be a daily driver and has done well, with the exception of needing a new clutch sooner than later. Included in the sale is a new clutch of your choice (i.e Centerforce, OE, etc), installed. Parts and labor included. One could drive it the way it is with no real issues, but I'd feel much better if it were replaced.
1972 FJ40.
4 wheel disc conversion
Saginaw Power Steering
Factory hard top
2.5" HFS lift. w/custom shackles
Custom Sliders
Custom bumpers, front and rear
Newer 2 stage Freeborn Red paint. (additional matching paint will go with the truck)
Hard Doors
Bikini Top included
Lock-Rite rear diff
Strong and super clean recently rebuilt 1F with 3 speed.
recently rebuilt split transfer case
Tach added to steering column
New Oil pressure gauge, and water temp gauge
Tuffy center console
Stereo in glovebox
all weather speakers attached to roll cage behind seats on the floor
BestTop front seats
Under Driver seat tool box
Rear Hidden tool box under right side jump seat
Rhino Lined interior floor pan
ALL fluids changed 9/26/10
Needs:
- front shackles are a bit too long for my taste (a little shorter and she'll sit nice and level and ride a bit better) NEW SHACKLES ON ORDER...10/22/10
- new clutch / rear main seal and probably slave cylinder
- tire rotation soon
- dog nose prints cleaned from back glass
- left rear jump seat needs seat belt installed (I have the seat belt(s))
- Rain gutter (on roof) needs new sealant in the actual gutter. When parked facing down hill, water seeps in the weld at the roof.
- I want to try to polish the windshield with glass polish, to see if some of the wiper marks will come out. (not a big deal, just a peeve)
- The inspection cover is not on the bell housing. I have the inspection cover (and maybe a new gasket).
- The right rear quarter has a crack in the skim coat. You can really only see it in certain light, (See pics)
- Needs either the interior of the roof painted or needs a replacement headliner. Looks fine as unfinished fiberglass, but would look great finished some how
