1972 Toyota Land Cruiser. $2,500 OBO. Have V8? You need this Land Cruiser. This is a great vehicle to drop your V8 and Transmission into. The tub is in very good shape for the age of the truck. Look at the pictures on this Craigslist listing. http://dallas.craigslist.org/ftw/cto/5138992409.html Pictures show all the rust. Pictures show it with the seats in and with them out so you can see that the floor boards are solid. You could part out this vehicle for far more than $2500 and I would do that but I don’t have time. No transmission or transfer case. Has original F1 engine that would need rebuilding or just take out and put in your V8 and transmission. No starter, fuel pump, clutch master cylinder. Brake master and booster there but need to be rebuilt. No fuel tank. Again, great to drop V8 in or use for a parts vehicle. I own it free and clear. I do not have a title, but will get a bonded title for an additional $300 added to the price. I have a shipper that can ship just about anywhere in the U.S. for $300-$800. Without the title 1500$ would be all I would pay for it,no way you will make 6K out of parting that 72.

I have had 2 offers of $1500 for just the top. $600 for the seats and $250 for the doors. That leaves the engine, the frame and other miscellaneous parts. Might not be able to get 6k, but a lot more than $1500. If I decide to part it out and some of these offers fall through, i will let you know. Thanks!

How does one "bid by accident"? Bidding takes a few clicks and some data entry (aka price).

Just letting you know that I sold this to a guy that is planning to put a V-8 in it.
