Wanting to sell my FJ40 to get a 80 series. This FJ is in really good shape and is unmolested. I can get pictures of anything you like. Is garage kept. I have had it for a little over a year. I do not have to sell, so no crazy low ball offers. Would prefer somebody close to buy it. I am in Charlotte N.C. With it having a lot of extra parts shipping would be a pain.

Paint is in great shape(the best shape paint on all the FJ40 I looked at before buyng this one). There are a few surface rust spots from were previous owner put hard top on by himself and scrached it taking it off.

Wow that's a nice 40 almost makes me want to trade you my 80.
If it doesn't sell by next weekend you should bring it down to the ONSC/UC event at the lake. PM me for details.

That Harris Tetter in the background looks very familiar which one is that?

i can attest that this truck is as pretty in person as it looks in these pictures and the work done on it is really impressive.

Good luck on the sale Justus

I think I saw that truck at Independent Technolgies when it was in for paint.

Yes you did. They painted and sanblasted the doors and bows for me. Did you have them working on a hard top and doors? How did it turn out? I saw them in there when I went stopped by one day.

my rhino was just stolen two weeks ago... thinking about getting an FJ40 to replace it. would you mind sending me your contact info so i can call with questions?

All PM's replied.

Have gotten a couple question on the soft top. It is custom made canvas soft top by OCD tops. Bellow is the link to his storefront. He makes the best soft top you can buy for a 40 in my option. He is having some $ problems now as you can read. I got one of the last ones he has made. Mine still has the plastic to protect the windows from scratching during shipping. I had it on for about 2 months before I went with the bikini top he made me also. You will be see several pictures on his thread of what the tops look like. There are 12 straps that hold it down in the back and 12 twist locks and gromments to hold it down on the sides. There is a channel on the front windshield and on the sides were the doors are. It is a very tight fit and gives the 40 the orginal look.

I love this truck...very clean. Did you manufacture the center console or is there a dealer out there that makes these? Curious to know. Good luck selling this beaute.
