I was thinking it would make a cool coffee table. Shoot it with some clear and call it good.

Not really flat enough to make a good coffee table. Problem with a hood is the size. Really hard to ship which is where the market is out of AZ. I have at least a half dozen hoods with zero rust and fewer dents. Probably missed my best opportunity to unload a bunch of stuff when Proffitts/Miller group was buying wholesale lots of parts. Believe that what Tim Hill did to down size.
