As Much as I hate to it has come time to let my Land Cruiser go.
1972 FJ40, It was a Factory soft top model. Guys this is not the perfect factory original Land Cruiser. If that is what you are looking for then read no further.
Motor= 5.7 chevrolet V-8/ Crate motor ordered through Summit Racing around 7k miles on it now
Gauge Cluster= Inop. fuel works some times. I use GPS to keep up with everything including mileage. and have done so since engine replacement.
Transmission= Muncie SM420/Condec model
Front end= Newer model fine Spline with (Disk Brakes)
Rear= original with drum brakes.
Lift kit= 4" skyjacker and 1" shackles. (was on the cruiser when i bought it)
Shocks= Brand new skyjackers less than 1k miles.
Tires=35" BFG MUD'S
Transfer case=Recently, complete rebuild through Cabot Tire and Off Road
Head Ligts= 7" round eyes with the bypass harness (BEST UPGRADE EVER)
Winch= 9000 lb Used a few times
BESTOP= Fairley new in great shape just a little dusty and dirty
Soft Doors= drivers side zipper needs replaced/ passenger side is fine
Paint and Body work= Not perfect but what paint is/ still needs final buff to the clear coat. The paint is Speedway Blue code 8p1 and omni plus was used for the base and clear.
ASKING= 17,500.00
Would consider partial trades on tacoma extended/4 door, fj60, fj62, 4runner
