Hey everyone, I’m 19 years old and have owned a 71 FJ40 for less than a year now. A friend made this group known to me and was told that maybe some of you guys would help out a college kid like myself. In 8 months I go to McPherson Kansas for their one of a kind Auto Restoration program. My one goal was to get my FJ running and driving before I went there. Now I’m not asking for handouts or free parts or something like that. I will pay whatever it is you want me to pay you for parts. As of right now the only thing body wise that I need are a rear hatch, window side panels, and a rain gutter. If any of you have those or know someone who has those let me know. Driveline I think I’m set as of right now, I’ve got a 4 speed trans and t case, front and rear axles already powder coated, debating if I should try and find a Toyota engine in time or just throw in a 350.
Here recently I purchased the mother load of Land Cruiser parts that I’m trying to part ways to make some money to help build mine. So if you need any parts message me or check out some of my other threads.

Thanks!

What a great project, and congrats on going to McPherson! Just become a sponge and soak it all up!

Sounds like you need an entire roof? Is that correct? I bought one a few years back that I could part with for what I have in it.

Cheers,
