1971 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser, in Salt Lake City (Murray), UT. Asking $1600.
After endless hours spent reading through all the builds and threads on this forum, my first thread isn't a build, it's to sell.
I bought this FJ40 years ago during better times, has been stored inside, and untouched since. Bought it from a salvage yard (pics are from when I picked it up), the motor had supposedly been rebuilt by past owner, but was then overheated. It didn't run when I bought it, and does NOT run now, I've never seen how it drives (it 'trailered' well though
). I have the radiator, carb and other parts not seen in the engine bay pics, they were in the cab. Don't know much about it, was never able to get started on it, what you see is what you get. I'll answer any questions I can.
If it's not sold by the end of the week I'll start parting it out if anyone is interested.
The wheels and tires are in great shape, probably 80-90% tread left.
