For Sale 1970 FJ40

I am the 2nd owner of a solid 1970 FJ40. Extensive work has been put in to eliminate and prevent all rusting areas. It has a Chevy 350 with 4 barrel Edlebrock carb and header back Flowmaster exhaust. The 350 was completely rebuilt in 2008 and has under 10,000 miles on rebuild. Original 3 speed transmission and rebuilt transfer case. Most fluids have been replaced in last 6 months, including: diffs, tranny, transfer case and motor oil and filter. It has BRAND NEW Cooper STT 32x11.50R15's put on in October. I also have original set of 5 wheels and bare spare wheel for current application. Original 16 gal gas tank as well as rear, auxiliary 20 gal tank with electric, switch operated fuel pump ( will draw fuel on its own though). I have had this cruiser for 10 years and it is babied and garage kept, but it has been solid offroading during hunting season. Never got me stuck and 4WD works awesome. This has been my daily driver for the past 6 months, but 13 mpg's is hurting my bank account to use as a daily driver. I hate to give it up as it is an awesome project vehicle, but I need to get into something more economical for daily use.
