so is the diamond plate just for looks then and there is no rust underneath?

No rust, barley any surface rust. I asked the PO at sale about the plating and rust and you can look underneath and see there is no rust being covered. Im guessing when it was built it was rust free and spray lined inside and out. Georg said he can tell by the wear the build was done about 10-15yrs ago. As far as I can see, no rust.

What's the length on the rear driveshaft? I'm surprised the engine isn't pushed forward more.

Hey 4dutchess...is it still for sale? Any interior pics? I love everything about it except I'm not a fan of diamond plating, just a taste thing. But sounds like it's not hiding any rust correct? If so it's easy to remove. Thanks, M

Also wondering how the wiper motor and blades ended up below the windshield instead of above it. I think 75 was the year the dropped below the windshield.

Same way the side doors got fatter with door panels and full one piece window glass - new improved parts.
