1966 FJ45 pewter same as FJ40 Pewter.

I had a rattle can mixed based on the pewter found on the fj40's (glove box....) It appears that it is slightly off from the pewter color in my 1966 fj45? Should they be the same color? Anyone have a paint code for it?

After a bit of research I found an old thread that discussed this exact topic. Just as I anticipated the old color is slightly darker than the new. The correct Toyota codes are:

T1434 Metallic Gray (1968 and newer)
T46 Silver Tan Metallic (1967 and older--slightly darker)"
