VIN: 2FJ40 15402 $3500
This is a project I don't have time to do justice. The tub is fairly solid, but has several drilled holes in it. Matching numbers. It is missing the original turn signals, column shift, soft top, and seats but does have the stamped bezel and drop down tailgate/chains. (I have the horns, windshield wiper motors, and a few other bits that are not in the picture, but are included in the sale).
It was originally sold in Wyoming. I had to relinquish the Wyoming title to get the current Texas title, but I made a color scan of it. The original owner sold it to a man who moved to Fredericksburg, TX. When he passed away, the daughter inherited it. It sat in their peach orchard for 12 years before I bought it 3 years ago. I cleaned out all the debris, but haven't done anything with it since then, so I have to sell it until I have time to do another Land Cruiser project.
I noticed on IH8MUD that a few years ago a Land Cruiser sold that was one number off of this VIN (2FJ40 15401). It was a 1962 FST in Idaho.
Thanks,
Bill
