I've got to do it. The 62 is on the block. Here is what it has and what it doesn't, also with its warts. The biggest is that its purple...Barney purple.
1. Chevy 305 (new) w/3 Edelbrock 600 cfm carb. (new)
2. 3spd trans. (mainshaft howls pretty good)
2. Doors, Top with stupid sunroof, tire carrier (low qual.) and cheap rack (good shape and highjack).
3. Shot tires on 15x7 black 6 spoke wagon wheels (four only)
4. Good Brakes, (rebuilt rear pistons and new shoes.)
5. New Gasline (poly)
Body:
Good solid body with minor or no rust. I noticed a little bubble bottom right rear. Chassis has at some time been repainted and is solid with no rot to speak of. Truck was a desert rat its whole life and is clean. Left side was at some time banged and body work is acceptable. Bezel is unstamped.
We scraped and sanded the entire floor down to original primer and coated with UPol poly bedliner up to gunwales. Dash has hole cut out in the middle and needs a new plug or cover plate fabricated.
Price: $5k and comes with the following upgrades for a few more bucks:
Paint: We chose the '76 dark LC Green single stage enamel for the rig. Original color was the kelly green. + $400
Cage: Metaltech 6pt cage (painted metalic silver now) with Mastercraft 5pt. harnesses. Seats are 8 way adjustable w/heat leather dudes from an Infinity Q45 and they are sweet! Electric headrest even. + $900
Full lot: $6300.
Pics show Super Swamper TSL's that do not come with rig. The rollcage is now painted metalic silver.
I can supply more pics and more info but I'll be gone for christmas. Rig is near Ventura California and I will consider towing for a radius of 100 miles for full price.
