Hi good day. Looking for tire recommendations for year-round driving on city roads and highways. Live in the Northeast so needs to be able to handle snow as well. Planning to put these on 18” wheels. Thank you

Another vote for the Michelins, just put a set on in September. Very quiet and smooth. Will be trying them out this winter, though.

Yes Michelin Defender all the way

Yep

Michelin Defender periodt

Thank you. Planning to swap out the stock 21” on my 2017 lx570 with stock 18” lc200 wheels. Double checking if this is the tire model:
MICHELIN
DEFENDER LTX M/S2 285/60R18

That is the correct size factory size. I put TRD Pro 18" wheels with that size Defenders on my 18 LX570 and they were great.

However, 285/65R18 will fill the wheel well better and provide more sidewall squish.

Defender LTX of course is the crowd favorite. Usually Costco is the place to go for these.

If you can find it cheaper installed and dont mind the slight increase weight per tire, Continental Terrain Contact H/T offers slightly better wet/snow traction. The tread is so similar its almost like they hired the same design team :p

I dont think Costco will install because Defenders are not the correct speed rating (H vs V for Land Cruiser).. None of the costco's around Seattle will install Defenders... Discount Tire will but they will most likely mention the speed rating difference...

I am thinking these will work for me when I need to replace my tires - Bridgestone Dueler A/T 693 - and give me an all terrain tire..

Just switched from the OEM Dunlap to the Defender, stock size, at 37k. No regrets, but I feel they're a bit more stiff than the Dunlaps (feeling the frost heaves). Heading into a Chicago winter, we'll see about overall performance. Frankly, I think the Dunlap is a pretty good tire.
