I'm sorry if this is already a thread but I've looked and i couldnt find it anywhere.

So here it is:

I just bought some used 285/70/17 AT tires but the 2001 LC comes with 16" wheels. So i figured id be fine and just get really cheap basic wheels, as long as they were 17" 5x 150s right?
Well the only sizes I can find in that for wheels are pretty expensive, i was wondering if this were available in an affordable version, kind of like the basic spare steel wheel. Also when i do run these will i need a spacer or anything? I am a bit confused on how the offset works. Sorry again if I posted a already answered thread but im a newbie here! Any comments will help thanks!

You won't want to hear this, but if you are trying to buy on the cheap you will be better off selling the 17" tires and getting 16s to match your current rims or 18" tire/wheel sets which are plentiful for the LC.

Well the tires werent expensive so thats ok but i hate to sell them instantly and restart

or could i use some kind of wheel adapter? or are those unreliable or difficult?
