Hi,

I finally have the wheels and tires separated. I am selling grey powder coated 16x10 steel wheels. They gave the FJ40 "hub caps". Backspacing = 4.5"
Location: Austin, TX
Price: $600

The tires are OFF the rims and are NOT included.

I have been looking for a set of these for my 62. Do you know if these will work on a 62 with that backspacing?

From my experiences with 60s I would say NO. 4.25" is really tough on a 16" rim. Some fit and some don't and I'm talking steel wheels, nothing aluminum would fit in that backspacing. These are at 4.5" They would definitely be into the calipers.

Do you know if they would work on a 1979 disc brake axle with a custom rear disc conversion? I am working on an LV and wondered how they would look vs. the skinnies.

I have no idea. Let me ask Jason... He just built up an LV with similar wheels but not sure of his backspacing.

sorry guys while the 16" wheel would easily clear the rear disk brakes the 10" wide wheel would not fit in the rear wheel well unless you had 6+ inches of lift. my 16x8" barely fit and only because I have 5" of lift and again just barely. if I were to have a set made specifically for the lv I would make them 16'x7"
then again these would work if you trimmed your rear fenders........
