16 LC - does it come with covers for rear DVD screens?

They annoyed me for about a week. Now, unless I'm folding the seats up I completely forget they exist.

The existence of the 3rd row seats and the holes left after removing them annoys me more. As does the lack of a power tailgate/hatch. My girlfriend has trouble reaching the open hatch so I always have to close it. On my old LX this was just a button press.....

You'll probably want to screw the bolts back into the holes with a bit of black silicone rtv or some rubber washers. You'll also see a hole normally blocked by the rear seat bracket, toward the rear of the mounting area. I stuck a couple pieces of gaffer's tape over those. All openings back there are subject to splash. Stick a Husky mat in the back and you're done.

My wife is 5'2". She can reach it, but it's a stretch. My kids are shorter (for now) and while it's amusing to watch them jump to reach the handle it's silly. Whenever I step up in tire size they're all doomed. At some point I'm going to look at the Lexus schematics and see if I can retrofit the power motor and button into my 2013 LC. If anyone's tried this I would be interested in the results.

For 80k, they should have put in headrest screens, which would have mad the headrest more comfortable with the added cushion. Don't believe it, check out the newer model Range Rover and it's like a pillow for the head...so nice.

It seems silly but I'm having trouble pulling trigger on 16 because of screens- they are so intrusive and block view for driver and for passenger.

I'm curious: what year did they eliminate power for that hatch?

I've never seen a power hatch on an LC in this country, only the LX...
