Does anyone know if you can remove the 16-17 LX running boards and replace them with a 16-17 LC body panels? This would be done to then install a set of sliders. I know that this has been done on LX's prior to 2016. I have read a few threads about what Christo has done, but have not seen anything about the 16 or 17 LX's.

Thanks,
MJ

Bumping an old thread. Has anyone pulled the running boards off a 16-18 570? Sliders or no sliders?

Call Slee and ask him. I’d buy a newer LX if could gut the front face to install Arb with winch and sliders. How do you like it and have you owned the previous model LX

I can't say for sure about the sliders, but the LX in all likelihood should be able to use the equivalent year LC running boards.

Angelo1, like this?

With some sleuthing... Looks like someone's done the sliders.

Yes. You can replace with LC panels to install sliders.
In fact, that is exactly what Slee does in combination with their new LX sliders.
One of the added expenses is the fact that you need to buy the LC panel though.
Slee's shop 570 did that, and the LC panel is on their truck.

Call @sleeoffroad and I'm sure they can assist you.
