13B-T Fuel Economy

There is a 70 Series currently on Ebay ( no affiliation) and the current owner is claiming fuel economy in the 30+ mpg range. I am only averaging about 22 to 24 mpg with my 13B-T. What does this guy know that I don't.

For some unknown reason many outside the US (canada) state imperial gallons per mile where the rest of world has all but eliminated it.

153.721 fl oz vs 128 US fl oz, 20% larger gallon.

liters /100 klm is the typical metric method. Using imperial gallon/mile is basically a lie that should be banned.

This Cruiser is for sale in the U.S. therefore they should not be using imperial gallons.
