Has anyone used a 24v to 12v step down to use a cheaper / more available window motor in their 24v setups? Any complications that arose?
Im getting 24v to my front left window on switch, so i know its the motor thats either siezed or fried completely. finding replacements is pricey as heck.

I'm running the DS front window with this pretty cheap motor from aliexpress. I don't know how long it will last, but with new window runs, a fix to the relay board (there was a broken connection) and a new master switch all my windows go down (and importantly, back up).

There are some aussie sites too that have plenty of 24v stock.

Note I've saved my OEM motor for sure. If this chinese thing fails, I might have the toyota motor rebuilt. I also needed the pigtail connection.
