Pay'n'Save has their 12T jack stands on sale for $25/pair, if you're in the market for some large jack stands...

Never heard of Pay'n'save- gonna have to look 'em up I guess. Putting blocks on top of my 6 tonners is starting to scare me.

-Spike :D (No, really)

NE corner of Priest and Elliot, (more to the east, over by Chilis). Mostly cheap chinese stuff, but these seem pretty well made, gusseted corners and a decent footprint. I get nervous putting my frame rails on 3T ones. All ratings aside, they just don't instill much confidence...

spike theres another one at 3rd st and bell, i only know cause its next to sunflower market

3rd st and bell

Ah, muchos gracias sir, that's much closer to my house at Cave Creek and Greenway- I'd have to refuel to get home from the Mesa location and that might break the deal. :D I'll look 'em up in the phone book tomorrow.

they are across the lot from the old tempe bike shop (now pei wei) and next to the freestanding bldg that used to be cost+ imports. can you tell that used to be my neighborhood?:D

The Tempe store is out of stock, sold out on Thursday. A shipment is due late in the week, the sale is on 'till 1/15/2007. They also have a 3.5 ton floor jack for $45, also out of stock, same deal.

The North store has both items in stock. The 12t stands are only about 2 inches taller than my 6 tonners, so I didn't bother with them.

The have aluminum 'racing' 1.5 ton jacks on sale for 60-something dollars- usually see them around a hundred bucks at other places- and out of stock most of the time at that price. I'm considering replacing the tiny floor-jack-in-a-case that I carry on trails, as the aluminum jack is lighter and I believe it goes lower, making it easier to get the axle off a rock and safer than a hi-lift.
