I also have emails between OM and myself. He contacted me first, apologized and asked what he should do. I said it’s not worth the effort, go ahead and take care of it. Had I had known how “look at me” you’d be, I would have told him to cancel the order.

It seems pretty crazy to me the lack of patience people have in general. Wits End is a small vendor that makes amazing products for our vehicles. It is funny how many people can't understand the delays in receiving parts.

How many people have ordered a 70 series Land Cruiser in Australia and are still waiting for their orders to be filled due to Toyota delays in production? How bout the Ford Bronco delays or any other number of companies that are having supply line issues. How many people have ordered bumpers or sliders that have taken months to make. I ordered something from amazon that took 3 months to receive. My point is that it is not just small businesses but also big companies with a lot more resources than wits end and that can't fill orders due to supply issues. Small batch production takes more time and effort than large systems production.

I think Joey has been doing better than most in communicating and getting things shipped - especially considering the circumstances over the past year and a half. Even expecting immediate responses or communication is a bit crazy. Communication takes time and pulls people away from work. Give small businesses time to respond and respect their time and effort and give them time to fill the order.

If you expect something to be filled in a certain time frame, contact the business first before you place the order and make sure that it can be filled in you expected time frame. If it can't be sent in your expected time frame, don't buy it and look elsewhere, but good luck finding it or receiving it any sooner than if you had just ordered it and waited for it to arrive.

I look at these specialized vendors as if I were commissioning a piece of work - it is unique, takes time and is custom made. It isn't something you just go pluck off the shelf at a grocery store (oh wait, I have had trouble finding what I am looking for their too....)
 
You ordered a bag of bolts.

Bag of bolts didn’t ship exactly when you wanted bag of bolts.

Wits’ End doesn’t produce bag of bolts.

Wits’ End procures bag of bolts from another source.

Other source delays shipment because EVERYONE is delaying shipments.

You get agro and want a refund.

Refund given and two minutes later you do a PayPal chargeback.

Chargeback was denied because you were already refunded thru normal means.

You still go agro over a bag of bolts and use every opportunity you can to post whatever you can to try and smear Wits’ End over a…

Bag. Of. Literal. Bolts.

Now you feel scorned and are fighting the good fight for the downtrodden. You are a hero.

Meanwhile, Wits’ End shipped 24,400 packages to date. If you are all pissy then you are .00001%

Wits’ End is not going to cry over your bag of bolts.
You sell bags of bolts. If you don’t consider every purchase by a customer as an equal purchase, then why TF are you even selling bags of bolts. I’ve purchased from you before, and never had a problem. I do have a problem with the lack of professionalism in the way you’ve handled this. Simply stop selling the items that you consider not worth crying over.

If they’re not worth your time, the orders shouldn’t be worth our time.
 
I dont know why everyone is jumping up and down . If you read my first post all i wanted to know if i can get in contact with joey as i do understand he is having life commitments and one of the parts i ordered is still in production but the other parts were in stock so i thought he might ship them together when the other part is complete but i tried to get in contact with him to ask if he could send the parts that he had in stock first and the other part when ready as the other parts i need but the part still getting manufactured i can wait for and was aware of the delay for that part . So not saying anyone is at fualt here but all i asked was how can i get in contact with wits end just to ask him a question but some of you act like as if a bomb has landed

or a CLEAR Dis-Honest Act is at Play for example

i can PLAINLY say @NLXTACY IS NOT A BAD SELLER in any way shape or form , He has taken the extra step to register and Pay out of his own pocket to Be a REGISTERED
Supporting VENDOR here on MUD ........

This privlage MUD allows us to have and use to HELP grow our small Business is nothing less then that , its a DUTY and HONOR to be one in my opinion , and i try hard to and strive to give this TITLE a good name

i KNOW for a fact @NLXTACY looks at this topic in a similar way , we all do .....

HE Called Me a my My 1Man Band Company " GARBIGE " in the Thread title , all because i was so very busy and piled of orders under me , from being out of town on a family Emergency issue that i clearly Communicated on my website front door fire wall


He lied flat out how many times he tried to communicate with me , and this REALLY Hurt me Both Professionally and Personally as well


Members need to understand a small 1 MAN operation like i personally have going on has been presenteded with so MANY extra challenges DUE to the COVID 19 Topic in general , from supply chain problems to out going shipping delays and flat out shippers LOOSING my orders after shipping too

ALL and any Negative factors you can possibly image are at play here now that covid related restrictions are being eased , warehouse's are EMPTY due to a lack of production during COVID 1 YEAR + impact , IT' S FRACKING a REAL DEAL folks !


I was Called GARBIGE because i exceeded a 72 Hour shipping leed time , i was only emailed 1 time buy my BUYER ?

then cast here in the GUILTY until Proven Innocents Court of Public Opinion !


I Spirit Remains still Broken because of a Unrealistic Opinion of some one else whom had NO clue what they were doing or what is really going on in the world out there as far as land Cruiser parts obtaining , making in house then offering to the Public in the end goal .........

I would Encourage You Strongly @Dirti eighti to take what im really trying to communicate with you very kindly and professionally as well here serious

@NLXTACY is Honestly NOT a BASD SELLER in any way and does not deserve this Level of how to best deal with this matter

he HAS NOT taken your Money or committed a Dis-honest ACT in my opinion , Please consider reaching out to him direcly using the MUD PM or private message system NOW !

it WILL work and lead to getting your concerns addressed in a timely fashion WITHOUT all the extra CRAP and DRAMA this thread has and will continue to create

you are only making a Issue you have concerns with MAJOR worse ..........

I got no idea how this post ended here as i didnt start the post here it was on the 80 series thread and all i asked for was help to get in contact with wits end that is all then somehow my most got changed to here . No idea how it got here then all these other members continued . In not saying anything bad about wits end i just dont have experience in ordering from australites to usa and i just tried to get in touch with wits end to sort a question i had . No idea how this ended up here in this thread

if you started this exact thread in TECH , then a MUD Moderator moved it here , due to it NOT being a TECH topic ...........

those are standard MUD rules , and well they make sense too to me anyway .......

I spent about $800 au on a overseas order and just wanted to get incontact with wits end to ask a question in multiple different ways with no response and just wanted to ask any mud members for help to get in contact with wits end that is all

in the upper RH corner there is a DROP DOWN Menu ....

there should be a DELETE Option ?

if you so choose you should be able to delete this thread out of the public viewing portion of MUD


i am NOT saying or making you decide to do this ..

but maybe it WILL help mend any mistake FENCE ?

i personally simply can't reply to emails from clients every single day , but that's me

i generally do in less then 72 hours , this is the best i can personally do .........

thiose are my facts , i speak for myself only here on this paticualr topic

Well it should have bees sent to another area not bad seller . I never intended to advertise wits end as a bad seller . It should have went to a help thread or somthing not bad seller . Then someone tells me y i put it on bad seller . I dont do things like that unless its a bad situation . And this post i made clearly wasnt .

also , MUD is RUN by and He is IN charge at the top : @woody

he is a SOLID fellow and very helpful at all times in EVERY way , i my personal experience :)

72 hours is good the reason i reached out was 1 is ita a overseas purchase and 2 its been 5 to 6 weeks that i tried to contact him in all sorts of different ways with no success and just asked if anyone knew a way to contact him anyway all good i will delete this post as i dont want to have this in bad sellers as i never intended of putting wits end in a bad sellers thread ..... off topic do you have a shop matt? Sorry im new to this foram thing learning slowly 😁
