Probably a long shot, but I'm wondering if anyone has knowledge of the difference between two 12 V intake heaters:
19810-17010 / -17011 - 1HD-FT and 15B-FT
and
19810-17030 - 1HD-FTE
They are both 12V and have the same fittings (same gaskets) and are both currently available, so one is not a superseded version of the other as far as I can see.
I think therefore there must be a real technical difference. If I look at the vehicles which have these parts, -17010 / -17011 came in vehicles which have (unspecified) 120 A or even 140 A fuses, whereas the vehicles having -17030 have 80 A fuses.
Basically, I want one for a 15B-FT swap into a 1989 BJ60 which has an 80 A fused glow circuit, and I'm worried that these glow heaters will blow the circuit.
Thanks
EO
