Forgot to reset the time on one of two cameras, so they're out of order. The deer at the end were in the hay fields on the southern part of Eastlake on our way home. We counted roughly 50.

BTW, do you guys have any idea how frustrating it is to live 500 ft from all those deer, and I can't shoot one? GGGGRRRRRRRR.....

Wonder if I could get a tag and trap one? One of those big bucks has walked a trail about 10ft off my property line. Maybe I could figure out a way to lure him in the yard and get a couple of you big guys to come over here and help me wrestle him to the ground and make steaks out of him...

How does taking game on your own property work? Is trapping legal? Maybe I should get rid of my fence...

I wouldn't mess with NDOW. Game wardens have more power and discretion than just about any other LE faction. They don't need a warrant to break down your door and ramble through your house/fridge/freezer if they suspect or have cause.

Applying for a land owner tag is riddled with ridiculous red tape and bureaucratic BS. You get one tag, I believe for every 50 or maybe 75 animals (specific to species you are applying for) on your property. Then after the application DOW does a fly over with a camera to make sure you have the minimum # of animals on your property.

Ever tried inviting deer/antelope/elk/big horn to a fly over photo party?

Wish it wasn't so...
