Hi, I owned a 2004 HZJ105R Series Landcruiser for several years. (RHD upside down Australian Version) I sold it to a mate and he owned it for 3 years. I have recently purchased it back. He told me that the blower motor fan isn’t working. I said “It will be ok, it will just be a fuse” Anyhow to cut a long story short, I have checked all of the fuses. I have tested the relays. I have a donor 105 so I have tried relays out of it. I have removed some of the relays covers just to be certain that they make contact. And I have replaced the resistor with a new resistor. It is the manual air conditioner, no fancy luxury stuff on the car. If I hot-wire the fan blower motor it runs. The relays all click and switch as the fan speed Dial is turned. I am not getting any power at the resistor that is located next to the fan blower motor. I don’t know what to try next. Is there a break in a wire somewhere in that wiring loom between the relays and the resistor? I don’t know. Do I run a new wire? 12 volt wiring is not my thing but I am giving it a good go to try and fix it. Please see the attached photos. Any help you can give me please would be greatly appreciated.

Hi , I am still trying to fix this Blower motor fan fault. I have an update. As mentioned previously I have installed a new fan resistor. Also the low speed, medium speed and high-speed relays all work and function as they should but the fan blower motor doesnt run. I have also replaced the heater relay in the engine fuse box. The reason I did this is that when I use a jumper wire with a fuse in it between terminals 3 and 5 on the heater relay the blower fan runs and functions as it should on all its different speeds using the fan control switch on the dash. But with the new heater relay in there the fan blower motor still doesn’t run. In between terminals 1 and 2 in the heater fan relay I only measure six volts with my multimeter. What could it be please, what would you change, or what would you try to get the fan running please?
