I'll post up as soon as I've registered. Not all the trails are offered alll the days. I'm most intersted in an Overnight. Porcupine Rim and Poison Spider. Porcupine has great MTB opportunities for passangers. 11 mile DH singletrack to the CO river. I led PS last year and will probably do the same this year. If it is anyones first time to Moab. You will enjoy everything. But don't do Hells and Fins they are almost the same trail. Scenery, type of wheeling, ect. Show up on Monday before the actual event at Slickrock campground and there are many unsanctioned trails going out each day.

I'm registered. Open to non RS members tomorrow. Overnight, Porcupine on Friday. Poison Spider Sat. I believe I'm gunning Porc and leading PS. Can't wait to see you all there. Lets call Porcupine on Friday the unofficial 100 series run. Register soon so you can get the trails you want. I know what I've selected isn't too difficult. You won't hurt my feelings if you make other selections.

So which is the 100 run and what day? I will not be able to get out there until Friday night (after the dinner). let me know so I can sign up for the right stuff. Hants told me he thought it was PR? I am hoping for PS though...

How is Poision Spider for the Hundy? It's one of the ones I'm interested in but have never done before. From the descriptions it looks like a good fit.

Is registration already closed? Or is it not open yet for non-members?
I freaked out this morning too. Received an e-mail from Hants. Registration opens this evening.

so is there anyhting going on on saturday?

  1. Just Booked My cabin at Slickrock for the 5th through the 8th. I'm in C1. FYI there are only 2 cabins left (as of 10:00am). C7 and C8 which have 1 double and 1 twin bed. Would love to see some more Hundys in there. We usually camp but thought that we could celebrate our anniversary a little early this year.
  2. A recommendation, don't wait till CM to purchase . Moab has but one state run liquor store with a :censor: selection. Grand Junction is a great bet. I recommend Crossroads. Take the 24 Road exit and go south past the Conoco.

I have a rear locker I used a couple of times, ATRAC might be enough, Far will know. You have sliders and bumpers so think you are good.
Edit: A Jeep went with us, no lockers, no traction control, exploded rear spider, but that was gunning it up an optional ledge.

Just saw in your other post you have stock rear bumper. They take a lot of abuse on slickrock ledges, a trailer hitch might be enough to protect rear end from damage on most, but with just a stock bumper might be costly to fix rear end.

I didn't suffer any bumper damage on Poison Spider Mesa with the stock rear bumper.

Thats some good driving. I was grinding my Slee on big ledge going into Sand Pit.

I didn't say the hitch didn't take a beating.:whoops: It took it just fine. Cliffhanger on the following day took out the Tupperware bumper on the way back out though.

On the other thread I noticed this guy isn't lifted. I don't have experience on Poison Spider with the stock bumper and no lift, so OP keep that in mind.
