Hey guys i have just got my 2004 ujz100r Landcruiser back ( which i purchased brand new back in the day) from my daughter i am having problem with the tacho and oil pressure gauges not working so i purchased a another instrument cluster to see would fix it no luck. My son-in-law said that they were having problems with the spot lights and he was checking wires and next time they started the car both gauges worked at the same time the tjm dual battery system was playing up, so they took it to the local mechanic who replaced the main fuse panel that connects directly to positive terminal of the start battery since then both gauges stopped working again maybe it's a grounding problem not sure. The car also has a brand new alternator, just not sure why the tacho and the oil pressure sensor are connected. I also put my obd2 scanner on and the revs were reading fine and no faults. Any advice would be greatly appreciated cheers!!
