Folks laid my hands on tech stream, it’s says pressures good around 6.1-6.4 front to rear. My height sensors, front left shoes -1mm but the right is saying -130mm and rear -1. I checked the sensors and both set the same physically. I’m wondering is the disparity a bad sensor or a bad globe/acculator. I can’t go up or down at controls I’m assuming it’s because of the disparity reading. I can make it drop using tech stream but anyway. So I think it’s this reading but wondering is it globe or height sensor?

What’s anyone’s opinions ? Cheers in advance.

Sounds like a bad height sensor - globe wouldn't be causing it to read like that. @PADDO has a post around here somewhere of how to use a multimeter to test the sensor - it's just a simple potentiometer.

Keep in mind though, it could also be due to a wiring issue.

In replacing the height sensor do you have to go genuine or does a jpl one work the same ?

If you can find some Aisin sensors, that would be equivalent to the OEM. In theory the others should work fine - again, it's just a simple potentiometer. I could see other having reduced longevity however if their not sealed as tightly.

Height Control Sensor circuits, not 'globes'.

More information here:

For reliability and longevity, use only OEM Toyota/Lexus replacements, avoid substitutes when it comes to Height Control Sensors. Suggest check pricing at Impex and Partsouq.
