Hey Forum - new 2000 LX470 owner here. Took off my factory side rails. Is it impossible to find used sliders? The $1200 price tag seems steep but Im sure I will eventually cave!

You can check the classifieds here, but generally not something that shows up much. Metal Tech has or had them on BF sale.

Sliders rarely pop up for sale and if they are, you better hope you are local because nobody would ship them. I’m looking for a set too but might have to go the custom route, we have a welder here.

Prices have doubled since Covid and it’s a hard pill to swallow.

Metal Tech has very stout sliders and they are great people. I could not be happier with mine or with the customer service they provided when my first set got "lost" by the shipper.

They often have sales - like right now.

Unfortunately the cost of everything is really catching up with inflation ~sliders are a great value for the protection they provide.

Another white knuckle fan here. They hold the truck up nicely.
