I posted a pre purchase inspection video on the 80 series trucks yesterday in the 80 forum. Last night during the live chat someone asked me if we had an inspection tips video for the 100. We didn't but had one to go over this morning so we recorded it. It's not the end all of everything you might run across but it covers the most common issues we see at the shop.

Nice video. Just sent it to my friend @super40 who is currently shopping. So you already helped out one person :)

Well done. My only constructive feedback would be to include more of the costs to repair/replace items like the steering rack, axles, shocks, etc so buyers can use that to negotiate. I know I was surprised when my dealer quoted $2300 for a steering rack.

I had thought about adding prices, but they seem to vary pretty widely depending on what region folks are in. I know locally labor rates change by 50 dollars an hour just in a hundred miles or so.

No worries - just ball park pricing helps like you did with the timing belt so people will have some idea of how big an issue something is. For example, oem suspension on a 100 without AHC is quite cheap while one with AHC is not as trivial.
