Anyone know a easy fix for side mirror vibration?

When does it vibrate? Just while driving or from music vibrations? My DS mirror used to have heavy vibration from the factory subwoofers, now it's just my rear view that shakes like crazy with an aftermarket sub. Oh well!

Yeah if I wanted to spend a lot of money. I'm sure it'd be expensive with the turn signal and being heated. Anyways, just wondering if anyone knew a way around buying a new one. Thanks for trying though.

Take a weekend and dig into one of them. I would bet that there is a nut or screw loose somewhere in the fixture that is causing it. Take some pics and post a DIY. My rearview mirror wiggles like a son of bitch, I have jus gotten used to it, but it would really bother me if the side views wiggled...

my 2000 had a slight vibration I used a small rubber gasket (I think it was more of a furniture leg rubber floor protector thing) shoved in the gap where the mirror can swivel, couldn't tell that it was there and it eliminated the vibration

This past weekend I did a speaker replacement and had both front door panels off...so I did remove both mirrors, squirted some PB blaster on the Philips screws and removed them...I did not see any gasket so I reassembled with some hex head screws just in case I needed to get at them without removing the door panels. I was able to completely reduce the wobbling or twitching by snugging them up.

Good as new.

I saw no evidence of a gasket or rubber piece that provided the wobble resistance. Tighten up those screws a tad and that was all that Was needed.

The three philips head screws on the bottom of the outside of the mirror?

Mine vibrate with a lot wind on the highway. I tried tightening the screws but they were already tight.

The entire thread length is coated with locktite blue...I did use an old school technician trick and heated up the head of the philips screw with a soldering iron for a minute. They were tight as can be. I used a lot of compression force so the philips wouldn't strip...

But the soldering iron to heat the bolt up made it a lot easier...
