Anything is possible with enough money :)

IIRC, the 105 series has a frame very similar to the 80 series. Slee has done a 2UZ-FE swap in to an 80 series so it should definitely fit between the frame rails and have clearance. Can't really offer any more info than that though. 40s do seem to be pushing close to the limits of the land cruiser axles can withstand from what i have read on the 80s. Do able, but pushing it.

If it was me, i would try to swap in a 1HD-FTE since they are available in Aus. These were only fitted on 100s so you would have more or less the same amount of fabricating work to get it to mate up. You can probably sell the 2UZ to recoup some of the money if it is still good.

I would guess that the Slee swap from IFS to SAS would probably run in the neighborhood of $20-25k judging by the work and parts that went into that. Awesome though!

thanks guys but i have both vehicles already and i just spent $12000 reconditioning my v8 and have port and polished heads to suit LPG system.I will get in touch with slee off road and find out what they did. Will keep in touch thanks.
