100 Series cv axle rebuild

Is it possible and/or has anyone rebuilt an oem axle? If so, who sells the parts or a kit? I would like to have one as a spare.

Yes. I followed the thread in the FAQ.

Toyota sells a reboot kit. I order my parts through member Beno (real name is Onur).

Depends on what needs to be rebuilt. If it's just the boot, then you can just get the kit mentioned above. If it's a clicker, then there are a few CV shops that you can send it in to that will machine the bell and replace the innards.

Thanks for the info. I just purchased a used oem cv axle. My current one is clicking badly and needs replacing. I was hoping it might be cost effective to rebuild it so i could have a spare.
