Hello all! Im new to the forum but have been in love with my 99 land cruiser for more than a decade. I recently took a trip with my buddy, he brought his dogs and one puked all over the trunk removable mat...im really interested in retaining the oem feel on the inside. Do you guys know of any places to scoop up a nice set? Beige.

Thanks for the read!

I ordered replacement carpet from All Car Carpets in Australia. http://www.all-car-carpets.com.au The process was easy and I am comfortable recommending them and would do it again. I placed the order on February 19th and the carpet was delivered to my door on March 7th.

I had someone install the carpet, which took one fully day, because of conflicts. The fit and quality were fine. The edges were bound nicely. The carpet came in three sections (front, rear, cargo). The two sides of the cargo area did not tuck but front and back did. The two sides to the cargo area carpet (again nicely bound) fit against the sides of the cargo area.

After years of the mud season in the rockies, hunting (yep deer), my truck looks 1000% better. All in cost inc shipping was approx $500.
(BTW, I have the darker blue/grey oem interior so I went with charcoal grey. Great new look.

Check Spector Off Road. I'm sure many others have them available as well.

Harrison, have you thought of renting a rug doctor or similar?

I ride along with 2 dogs most of the time...picked up some cheap gray carpet at HD and cut to fit the cargo area. When it gets impossibly dirty, I just cut out a replacement. Iirc well under $10 per yard and 4' wide.

I just pulled mine out and soaked it down with purple power cleaner, scrubbed with a brush, let it sit for a couple of hours, scrubbed again and then rinsed. Got it 95% back to original.

Dog puke has a smell factor that may not be able to be cleaned. Got a couple of big labs so I know what dog puke is.

Good Luck!

As far as vomit goes, I've had really good luck getting rid of the smell with two products... Vinegar and shaving cream.

I too have pulled my carpet and deep cleaned. Quality cleaning detergents and a shop-vac will get rid of most stains and smells.
