Doing some brake maintenance - Replacing all rotors and pads with OEM Toyota when I discovered the 100 series pads will NOT fit with a new rotor. They are too thick, as shown here.
I had been running 100 series pads with my old worn rotor with no issues. This is just an FYI for future reference.

Also many time folks have to throw away the anti-squeal shims in order to make the 100 pads fit. I have seen where this can lead to constant brake squeak when coming to a stop.

Murf, this is with no shims....Still no go. I am sticking with OEM!

I've had it happen as well. Measured everything and the rotor was out of spec, too thick, turned it to within spec and it's been working like a charm.
