"Separate Seat" is Toyota's designation for shifter position on the H151 gearbox. Separate Seat shifter position is located several inches toward the rear of the gearbox. The other designation is "Bench Seat" which is the standard shifter configuration on H151 for 70/80 Series and 100 w/ front bench seats.
