I'm looking for tires for the new fj55. It'll have the 4bt in it and I need 34" or 35" tires. With running that big of a tire will they do better on the road if they are 10 ply? Also, is there a good wheel option in a 17" wheel?

I'd go KO2's, they're load range E. (10 Ply)

Those are a little rich for my blood. I was thinking about buying the Cooper discoverer at3 in the 285/75r17. eBay has a pretty good deal on them. They have $100 off of $400. So I'll just order them twice to get the tires for $175 a piece shipped.

I ended up buying the coopers. Pretty good price. $175 each with free shipping.

The cooper is a load range E tire?

Cool. I'll get pics of it all when I get them and get back in town. I'm in the process of ordering parts right now. I do still need a good set of 17" wheels. I'm hoping I can find them in the right back space. I talked to a guy in Florida about his fj60 axles. I'm hoping he can get a price for shipping and get them shipped soon.
