I think I have this assembly.

BTW, sorry I couldn’t get back to you on the EGR order. My wife says she shipped it Friday.

Hey Mark, Yep the EGR parts you sent were spot on excellent! You also show a 3 hole smog pump pulley on your website I need. I have the wrong pulley for my smog pump....so I just need that pulley and this thermostat housing if you've got it.

Also if we find this housing...the PO's who de-smog'd often jammed in plugs of the wrong size to fill the bvsv holes. So I need something thats plausibly still threaded correctly in these ports.

I wanted to give you guys an update on how this got completed as I appreciate each of you and the offers of help in this
area.

@65swb45 Mark I'll also call you directly on a 3 hole smog pump pulley but I will undoubtedly need a to combine
few more things you will have in this re-smog project ... so I'm waiting for my next stumbling block.

Matt got me the lower housing with 2 ports on it...which is apparently the same lower hemisphere as some pre-1979 smog'd 40s.
Then he helped me by removing the plug from my existing upper which is the unicorn part in this mix.

As an aside we also considered multiple other options that could be explored in the future if this upper hemisphere becomes completely
unavailable

1. There is an unused port on the head of the 2F that could theoretically be used to put a BVSC sensor into. Mine has the temp sensor, and heater pipe in two ports, with a third port unused on the head.
2. The BVSC sensor for the choke could theoretically be omitted as its possibly the least important of the three bvsc sensors in the 1979 setup. If thats omitted then you could move the sensor from the top hemisphere to the bottom hemisphere.

Neither of these solutions is perfect because you are moving a sensor from one side of the thermostat to the other. However at normal operating temperature it would perhaps have little effect.
