Hey guys,

I bought my 2000 LC about a month ago and didn’t realize it had front/rear wheel spacers installed until a few days ago. I can’t figure out who makes them but I do see some similar cheapo ones on Amazon and I’m pretty sure thats where these ones came from. They seem to be fine but I’d feel alot better if I knew they were some high quality US made ones.

I’m having trouble finding front and rear 1.5” spacers. I’ve checked Spidertraxx and Slee and unless I’m missing them I dont see them for a 2000 LC.

Should I be concerned about these? I will be driving from North Georgia to Colorado next month, hitting some trails and driving home and I just want to put my mind at ease. Maybe I’m overthinking it.

Any input would be appreciated!

I wouldn't trust cheapo spacers but there's plenty out there that do.

1.25" is the most common size available.

Yeah, I feel the same way. Even with these 1.5” spacers the tires still rub at full turn just a little. Not sure I could get away with 1.25”. They are 2018 tundra wheels with 275/70/18 tires.

They rub because of the spacers. If you took them off there will very likely be no rub at all.

Well damn..lol I’ll give that a try tomorrow. I just assumed they were needed to provide clearance.

So it’s most likely the PO installed them just to get a look they were after? The wheels are about flush with the fenders now.

Same exact spacer I was running with OEM wheels. They're about $115 on Amazon. I only took them off because I brought aftermarket wheels. I trust them but to each their own. I firmly believe must failures are from user error.

I had spidertrax on my Tacoma. My level of worry was the same.

Thanks man, that does make me feel better. I believe they are installed correctly. The PO did alot of good work to this vehicle. I was considering replacing them with some Bora spacers but they are about $350 for the front/rear. I may just ride these out.
