I'm looking to get a set of 285/75/16 Duratracs at a Goodyear store, and they quoted me $1,160 out the door which breaks down to $249 per tire, $24ish for mounting and balancing, and the rest is tax. Does that sound like a pretty decent deal? They also have them in stock which is really nice. I was trying to decide between these and BFG ATs which I love, but I've had multiple sets and want to try something new.

i think i paid $1200 for mine at GY store w/hazard warranty - price seems correct.

I was close to that as well at Discount Tire.

I ended up talking them down just a little more and paid a total of $1040 out the door including taxes and fees. I think that was a pretty fair deal all things considered. Here's how she looks now - can't wait to try them out this weekend!

Man, that looks good. My tires are wore out and need something for the winter. I've also got a stock 100. Can you tell me what your MPG was before and what your city/highway MPG is now? I'm averaging 14MPG on 265/75/16's with 50% mixed driving.

Sorry I don't check this forum very much. I honestly don't have a baseline because I literally picked up the LC and drove it straight to Discount Tire within 10 minutes of owning it. I have been averaging between 13.8 and 15.1 though in the 3 tanks I've run through so far. The size is honestly perfect for the LC - it fits great stock and still looks good with a little bit of lift too. Here's a trail I ran recently with them where they worked extremely well.

I was almost exactly $1000 out the door, with road hazard, from Discount. That included one $60 and one $40 mail in rebate which makes them about $900 (if I ever mail in the rebates, lol).
