I just got the rear springs TSB done & I have a 2.5-3 in lift (spacers & AAL) sitting in the garage to install next week. I'm thinking the Blistens that Toyota replaced will be too short after the lift. What's a good shock to install after putting in the lift?
Thanks

I haven't had the rear leaf TSB done myself, but a lot of folks that have installed it have noticed quite a bit of lift from it. That plus the AAL could result in a signifcant rake in the rear - just something to think about.

As far as rear shocks go, I'm pretty happy with my OME Nitrochargers. Nice, beefy shock body and piston, and good travel. The aftermarket Bilsteins (5125?) are also popular, and much better quality than the TRD Bilsteins.

Pro Comp has a Good shock too. I have them to acompany my AAL

I recently ordered Bilstein 5100's for the front of my 05 Tacoma, ended up getting rears because of good package deal... rear shocks will probably be sold new as it looks like I may not need them after all... they require 1.5-2.5" lift

feel free to PM if interested
