06 LX470 Key Transponder Programming

Hello,

Apologies in advance if I am flogging a dead horse..

I've read all 11 pages of the Programming the 99 TLC thread and tried the Sequence E and the Sequence I instructions till I could repeat them in my sleep.

And yet, my new key is not programmed.

I also read some information about 06/07 keys not being programmable onboard, i.e., using the instructions widely posted here.

Can someone with a 04+ LX470 please confirm if this is true and whether I do need to go to dealer to get the key programmed?

p.s: I have one master key ( the security light goes off instantly after the key is inserted.

Dealer, they have to use the laptop.

I know I dont have a 2004+ but on my 2003 yesterday I had to take it to the dealer. The technician told me that after 2002 it had to be done by them unfortunately. I did the same thing you did and I tried for over an hour and yet the dealer did it in 5 minutes for me. Sorry I know that's not what you wanted to hear

Well, at least it saves me an hour this evening with a stopwatch. Folks in the parking lot were probably like.. who is this insane guy opening and closing his door continuously....
