06 LX with 76k miles and Curtain-Shield Airbag Recall

That is odd. The recall came out last week so no remedy has been published. Are they not going to sell any vehicles affected by this for 6 months? I suspect they will sell to a dealer and let them take any responsibility. If you have a dealer friend, you could get them to purchase it and then sell to you.

They said other dealers might sell it, but Sewell's policy is to not sell vehicles with open recalls of this nature (safety). When they took it in on trade, the recall had not been posted.

Wish I did know a dealer that could facilitate, that's a good idea.
